Our Dr. Lite Mia Magnifier Lamp is perfect for us! We've used it for sewing, soldering, and building models with small pieces. We have the gray and love it - it fits in really well with our decor. I even gave one to my mom so she can use it for her quilting, and she loves hers, too!

Received my product quickly. The Mia Magnifier lamp is such a great tool - has multiple light settings depending on what I’m doing. I like to do some crafting or sewing when watching tv, so it’s great to have it in out in our tv room (moved it from our study where we originally had it). Plus having the magnifier let’s me put off having to buy reading glasses a little while longer lol. Most likely going to get another one for my kids, for doing school work and art assignments. Thanks for a wonderful product!

What's an often overlooked, but super important aspect of your home office? It's lighting! As more and more of us are working and studying from home now, it's imperative to make sure you have good quality lighting to decrease eye strain and fatigue. I was lucky to have the chance to test out the Dr. Lite Mia Magnifier Lamp and I legit love it!
As someone who uses my home office for everything from reading papers and clinical studies, working on my computer and taking notes, to drawing, sewing, and crafting having a high quality light that feels comfortable, without glare and flickering, minimizes blue light, and as a bonus had a 3D magnifier is essential. I particularly like that there are various temperature modes and brightness levels, as well as compact desk lamp design.
Dr. Lite also makes a variety of other desk and floor lamps designed for those with AMD and visual impairments, but really are great for everyone, and I think especially for other artists and crafters and of course students. If you've been noticing more eyestrain after working from home consider looking into options like these that will decrease your blue light exposure and offer a more balanced light spectrum, check them out. Only problem is now I want the Angel Desk Lamp too!

I bought this lamp for my mother because she has a degenerative condition that is causing her to slowly lose her eye sight. She loves to sew and embroider but her eyes get tired easily these days. This lamp will be helpful not only because the light is not harmful to her eyes but also because of the magnifier. I may get one for myself as that feature is really great for anyone who does crafts- especially embroidery.
